About Us

Collegiate Exposure Camps known as "CEC" was founded in 2014 by a group of former and current college athletes and college coaches. The goal was to bring players from all over the country and world together in one place so they can compete and train together in a college style environment with instruction from current college coaches to develop their game and make an easy transition from junior to college sports. The camps are taught exclusively by college coaches from various prestigious colleges representing all levels of the game.

Coach David Geatz is currently the CEC Co-Director (along side Tarek Merchant) as well as a former college head coach at the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, University of Minnesota and University of New Mexico. As the Camp Director, Coach Geatz strives to put together an outstanding group of college coaches to run Collegiate Exposure Camps. As a long time college coach, he takes great pride in directing a camp and helping players make the easy transition from junior to college tennis a reality.

Over his career at Penn, Geatz compiled a 120-110 record and recruited 11 All-Ivy selections, including Kyle Mautner, Penn's only four-time first team All-Ivy pick. Geatz was previously the head coach at Cornell (2008-10), Minnesota (1988-2006) and New Mexico (1983-88). At Minnesota, he led the Gophers to five Big Ten championships and made 12 straight NCAA Championship appearance.
