University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA

 

Overview:​ The goal of the camp is to continue your development as a player while immersing you in and exposing you to a competitive college tennis environment. While technique will be evaluated and addressed, the aim of the camp is to focus on how to play and how best to prepare for college tennis.

Camp Highlights:

  • 14 hours of on-court collegiate style practices and match play

  • On-court instruction and interaction exclusively with college coaches

  • Get exposure and network with college coaches

  • Improve your skills and learn singles and doubles strategies specific to college tennis. 

  • In-class seminars to motivate and educate players on how to prepare for college tennis

  • T-shirt, prizes and much more!

Facilities: The Penn Tennis Center is the home of the men's and women's tennis teams and is one of the finest collegiate facilities in the country! Featuring 20 courts (12 outdoor & 8 indoor).​​

Check-in/Check-out: Players check in at 10:00 am on the first day of camp at the Penn Tennis Center. The camp concludes at 4:00 pm on the last day of camp

Meals: includes daily lunch

Safety is our top priority: Our camp will comply with all CDC health guidelines to protect players, parents, and coaches.

ACCOMODATIONS

​Resident Campers: will be staying in the Penn dorms.

Commuter Campers: families will be required to provide their own hotel accommodations.  We recommend these three hotels below. All are within walking distance to the Penn Tennis Center.

First Day

10:00-10:30 a.m. – Check-in at Penn Tennis Center

10:30-11:00 a.m. – Welcome seminar and introduction of college coaches

11:00-12:00 p.m. – College-style fitness and campus tour

12:00-12:50 p.m. – Lunch and rest
1:00-1:50 p.m. – College-style fitness and campus tour

2:00-2:30 p.m. – Classroom presentations by coaches

2:45-6:00 p.m. – College-style drill session

Second Day

8:30-8:45 a.m. – Check-in at Penn Tennis Center
8:45-:9:00 a.m. – Morning seminar and introduction of college coaches
9:00-9:10 a.m. – Warm-up/stretching
9:15.-12:00 p.m. – Singles & doubles match-play drills and “college-style” team practices
12:00-1:00 p.m. – Lunch and rest
1:15-2:00 p.m. – Classroom presentation by coaches
2:00-5:00 p.m. – Singles & doubles match-play drills and “college-style” team practices

4:00-5:00 p.m. - Special Parents Seminar at the indoor tennis center
